Friends of the Library Annual Cookie Fundraiser & Basket Raffle – 2023

Saturday, December 16th from 10am – 1pm
at the Rowley Library

Support the Friends of The Rowley Library this holiday season by joining us at our Annual Holiday Cookie Fundraiser & Basket Raffle.

Let us take care of your holiday baking…preorder tins filled with a delicious mix of holiday cookies. Order Cookie Tins here. Then stop by the library meeting room for some festive fun on December 16th to pick up your cookie tins and while you’re there, get a ticket for the holiday basket raffle. Winners will be drawn beginning at 1pm. All proceeds help support library programming and initiatives.

Join us for our 11th annual Basket Raffle! This year prizes total over $5,000! Get your raffle tickets at the front desk: $1 per ticket or 6 tickets for $5. All baskets will be on display at the Rowley Public Library starting Nov. 20.

The drawing is 1pm on Saturday, Dec. 16. You need not be present to win.

For more information, email baskets@rowleylibrary.org or call the library at 978-948-2850. All money raised will go to fund programs at the Rowley Library like the Summer Reading Program, music and craft programs, the monthly book club and more!

To volunteer to bake for our cookie fundraiser:

We’re in need of volunteer bakers. If you’re able to help please sign up HERE. For every dozen cookies baked, you’ll get a free Holiday Basket Raffle ticket as a token of our appreciation. Please contact friendsboard@rowleylibrary.org with any questions. 
 

Bakers Instructions:
Please bake 2 dozen (or more!) of your favorite variety of cookies in small sizes (NO  large cookies please!!!!).

  • Do NOT individually wrap cookies.
  • Deliver in protected containers (gallon Ziploc bags/tins/plastic containers) labeled with your name and type of cookies you baked. Please label your containers if you want to pick them up at the library the week after the event.

This event is only successful because of all you amazing and eager bakers out there:)

Order Cookie Tins HERE! Get a festive tin filled with at least 8 different home baked holiday cookies. Tins are 8 x 3.5 and cost $25. We will accept cash or check (made out to Friends of the Rowley Library) or click on the Donate button below.




Holiday Doggie Cookies – 1st time EVER

Last minute add on from the Friends of the Rowley Library. It’s been suggested and we made it happen:). Order here. All proceeds go straight back to fund programming at your library. 20 festive bags, $10/bag with 5 3inch, bone shaped, home made oatmeal/butternut squash/apple cookies. Happy holidays to all our pooches too!
