Kevin Figueroa is an experienced and enthusiastic instructor who will help you gain confidence in your ability and get you where you want to go!

Each class has a different topic- sign up for as many as you’d like. You must sign up for each class:

5/6: Using iMovie on the iPhone and iPad
In this class, we go into the iMovie app to learn how to put photos and videos together into movies and slideshows. We cover techniques for cropping videos, adding subtitles, including transitions between clips, and more.

5/13: Digital Art for Beginners: Learning the Basics
In this class, we cover the basics of creating art in the Procreate app, the most popular app for making art on the iPad. We cover various features in Procreate like colors, brushes, layers, and more. The class includes an activity in which a piece of unique artwork is created. Apple Pencil recommended.

5/20: Digital Art for Beginners: Symmetry & Color
This class goes into advanced techniques for creating artwork in the Procreate app, including a deeper view of settings and adjustments, drawing techniques, and Procreate features. Class includes an activity in which a piece of unique artwork is created. Apple Pencil is recommended.

Basic Computer Class

Savvy computer expert Carol Soucy will explore the basics of computer use including keyboarding, organization of files and folders, working with the internet, and more. No past experience is required. This class will be taught using Chromebook Tablets. Don’t have a device at home? There are some available to borrow. Call the COA at 978-948-7637.

Friends of the Rowley Library Meeting

The Friends of the Rowley Public Library is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization whose sole mission is to support the Rowley Public Library by providing financial assistance to help defray the cost of library and staff development programs not covered under the annual operating budget, and by organizing volunteers to assist library staff.

Come share your ideas or just sit in to see if you would be interested in getting involved in fundraising or volunteering. Meetings are free and open to the public.

After that, you will design and build a beautiful miniature terrarium to bring home.

Join us for this fun and educational experience and bring a bit of nature indoors!

All materials will be provided.
