No library card? No problem! Residents can now sign up online for an electronic library card! Carry the e-card with you on your phone by downloading the MVLC app today! Search “MVLC Mobile” in your app store, then “Add an account” in the app and type in your new bar code.
You can renew your existing library card HERE. If you have moved or changed your legal name, you will not be able to renew online. Online renewal is available starting 30 days before your card’s renewal date.

Ebooks & Audiobooks

Overdrive digital library collection is offered through the regional Merrimack Valley Library Consortium. Now you can check out and download audio books, e-magazines and e-Books any time, plus stream videos.
And they have kids’ books! You can browse a kids-only page, limit your search by age range or reading level, and more. Suggested reading lists can be limited by age, also.

Freegal is a free music service from your library. The service offers access to millions of songs for download and streaming.
There is no software to download, and there are no digital rights management (DRM) restrictions. You can stream up to 3 hours a day, or download 5 songs per week. Downloads are yours to keep forever! Queue up a dance party playlist while the kids are home from school, or find a playlist to relax with while the kids are otherwise occupied! Log in with your Library Bar code to get listening.
