In our Gallery: artist Lisa Weagle
Lisa Weagle has been an Ipswich native all her life. She’s a self-taught artist and the owner of Rustic Sentiments and Artistry. She loves painting florals, scenery, and beach themes, but her favorites are pet portraits and old falling-down buildings. The paintings on display are done on canvas using acrylics except for the dog portrait which is painted on wood with acrylics.
The exhibit will be on display through April.
In our Display Case:
The Grange is a fraternal organization, founded in 1867, and our local Rowley Grange was chartered in 1897. The Grange was the first fraternal organization to be founded and chartered that allowed women and youth to be members and granted all the privileges of membership including voting rights and holding office within the organization. The display will present some of the roles that the Grange plays in our community, yesterday, today, and a look at the future, as well as their interests in Community, Agricultural Education, Education, Legislation, and Youth. Come learn some local history and find out what the Grange is all about!
