Let’s Play Acting

Professional actor and movement specialist Marianne Bayard invites 4-6th graders to try out acting!

This 4-week class introduces students to the fundamentals of acting and storytelling for an audience. We’ll explore the elements of a story, how to create a character, preparing the voice and body for the work of performing, and finally, getting up on stage.  Activities in this class can include script writing, improvisation, collaborative storytelling, and the option for a final ‘show and tell’. The class will be informed by the students and their interests. Beginners are welcome. Join Marianne in a fun exploration of self-expression!
