The 13th Chili Cookoff on the Common Saturday, September 30 from 2-6 pm.

202 Main St. Rowley due to the forecast for wind and rain***
This popular community event will feature a judged chili competition with all the fixings, live music, a German-style beer garden, raffles, games and activities for the kids. All proceeds benefit the Rowley Public Library. Sponsorships are available at the Habanero ($2,000), Serrano ($500) and Jalapeño ($250) levels. COOKS WANTED
Get out of the kitchen and join us outside! All amateur and professional chili cooks are invited to participate, either as contestants or individual contributors. Categories include Red Chili, Green Chili, Vegetarian and People’s Choice. Notably, Rowley’s contest rules allow recipes to include beans, in strict defiance of International Chili Society regulations. There’s no cost to enter, but registration is required for limited contestant spots. Cooks interested in entering should email friends@rowleylibrary.org for more information and registration forms.
